Krystal Burgers is a quick service restaurant with strong roots in the south. Their main item is the Krystal Burger, an addicting steamed slider sold mainly by multiples. Leveraging nostalgia, the campaign at the time enlisted the help of Jim Henson’s Workshop to create real puppet characters of the iconic Krystal menu. As a digital art director I was given a library of assets and tasked with creating content that supported these characters as brand elements while telling a story that aligned with our target audience. Krystal was a conceptual playground for me early in my career to explore ridiculous ideas without consequence.
