PATRICK DANIEL LAW

Patrick Daniel Law is a firm out of Houston Texas that focuses on controversial cases with huge payouts. Their team aggressively fight for what they believe in and when they approached us looking for a pride week campaign I jumped at the opportunity. They were fully aware that a campaign like this would cause friction in their mostly Texan social community and that made it so much more punk. I took inspiration from that attitude and wanted the content to echo the loud rebellious energy of the early pride protests in the 70s & 80s.

During my tenure as Social Art Director for Patrick Daniel Law I also had half a dozen other law firm clients I was creating branded templates for. While not the most exciting client portfolio it afforded a great opportunity to practice approaching content from a more efficient perspective. I had to maintain a simplicity in both concept and file structure. The files had to be intuitive enough for junior content coordinators to use. A templated approach to social has its limitations but creating a reusable design system allowed for a higher output of content.
